Farm markets
Farm markets are a way for people to purchase local products, meet their farmers/fishermen, and connect with neighbors. A recent study by URI’s Sam Grimley found that Rhode Island consumers want to see more seafood available at their local farm markets.
In the summer of 2011, we will be selling The Local Catch seafood at the following farmers' markets:
Lippitt Memorial Park, Providence (Hope St. and Blackstone Blvd.): Wednesdays, June 4th – October 29th, 4-6 PM.
Cranston Armory, Providence (Parade St. and Hudson St.): Thursdays, June 2nd – October 24th, 4-6 PM.
