Community-Supported Fishery (CSF) Shares
Community-supported fisheries are modeled after the popular community-supported agriculture (CSA) model. Participants receive a steady supply of seafood throughout the year in exchange for an up-front payment that helps fishermen finance their operations for the year in advance.
During summer 2011, we are making CSF pick-ups available at our two farmers' markets:
Lippitt Park, Providence (Hope St. and Blackstone Blvd.): Wednesdays, June 8-Aug 24, 4-6 PM.
Cranston Armory, Providence (Parade St. and Hudson St.): Thursdays, June 9-Aug 25, 4-6 PM.
